Terms and Conditions of Service

Security Fee and Final Balance Payment

At the start of the commission, you will be provided with a full quotation, including framing (if applicable). Following agreement to proceed, a 50% non-negotiable and non-refundable security fee is payable for me to accept the project. The remaining balance will be required upon completion of the artwork and must be done so within 14 days of the stated finish date. Artwork will not be released unless the balance has been cleared. If, after 4 months, the balance has still not been paid, I reserve the right to then place the artwork on sale to the general public. Once the painting has been sold, you will lose any claim or right to the artwork in question, as well as any monies from the proceedings. Your security fee will also be forfeited.

Approval & Refunds

Before your artwork is ready for collection (or prior to posting), I will send you an image of the finished product for your approval. If you require any minor amendments, these will be discussed, agreed and adjusted (within reason and limitation) to fit your requirement.
I’m very proud and honoured that, to date, every commission I have been given has been extremely well received!

You will be able to fully inspect all artwork on collection, to check everything is as expected. Please note, that as paintings are bespoke items, I cannot accept refunds unless items are damaged (see below). I cannot accept any responsibility for artwork once the items have been collected directly by the customer.

Damaged Artwork

If you suspect the artwork has been damaged during shipment, please take photographs of the damage to the outside packaging as well as additional photographs of the damage to the artwork. Please send these images to liz@elizabethg.co.uk. Any damaged goods will need to be returned to me.

Shipped artwork will be sent fully insured, so a process for an insurance claim with the courier service will be required. Please be aware that this process can take some considerable time.

Damaged Frame

If you have chosen to have your artwork framed and the frame has been damaged in transit, then please follow the instructions above for damaged artwork and send photographs of the damage, as described above. The damaged item will need to be returned to me, so that it can be reframed.
