When I look for a moment away from reality - to get out of my own head space, to quieten all the noise around me, I find creating an abstract piece of art is such an incredible tool to allow myself some escapism.

When it comes to creating a piece of art, I am always my own biggest critique - often wanting to make 100 changes. Coming from a background of realism as an artist, I frequently struggle to be “free” with my work and express my emotions. But I am slowly learning to trust the process!

It’s so exciting seeing these pieces enjoyed by others - I cannot wait to start my next commission!

I couldn’t agree this quote more - as an artist myself, there’s nothing more rewarding than being able to express yourself through your art, whether it’s with a paint brush, a photograph or in written words.

Creating something new and exciting brings such gratifying emotions, with every new piece. Over the past 3 years, in between my time shooting in the studio, I have been quietly creating some abstract art pieces, which are now being sold as original pieces as well as reproduction prints. It’s so exciting to see my work hung and enjoyed in other people’s homes.

Super smiley and warm natured, Chris, booked me for some new business head shots and media images for his estate agent business/website branding refresh. He has recently been named in the top 50 agents in the world outside of US and Canada - for total value of properties sold in 2022 at eXp UK, how incredible is that?!

Really looking forward to creating some more visuals for Chris and his team later this month!
