There’s something extraordinary about photographing professional dancers. They possess an innate ability to communicate powerful emotions through movement, an artistry that transcends words and resonates deeply. Recently, I had the privilege of working with Alistair, a highly accomplished dancer whose career spans some of the most prestigious stages and companies in the world.

Alistair’s impressive list of credits is a testament to his talent, dedication, and versatility. He has graced the West End in *Mary Poppins*, performed in the UK tour of *Annie the Musical*, and danced in some of Matthew Bourne’s most celebrated productions, including *Swan Lake* (UK and international tours), *The Car Man* (Royal Albert Hall), and *Nutcracker!* (UK tour). His classical repertoire is equally awe-inspiring, with performances for the English National Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Bucharest National Opera, and Scottish Opera.

I had the absolute pleasure and privilege to work with the very lovely and talented dancer, Holly. Some of my favourites from our session.

I was delighted to welcome beautiful Darcey back to the studio, having photographed her about a year ago.Her lovely mum was so excited to tell me that Darcey has been doing amazing well with performing, having recently portrayed Brigitta von Trapp in The Sound of Music tour last year!

Classically trained ballet dancer, Ethan, was an absolute privilege to work with (pre-lockdown) and at only 14, has achieved so much in his dancing career. Not only is he super talented, but so polite, unassuming and a dream to photograph.

It was a real pleasure to welcome the very talented dancer and actress Lily for some fine art head shots at my studio. She was so effortless on camera and an absolute joy to photograph!
